  • Where are you based?
    I live just south of Te Kuiti, Waikato, in the stunning King Country.
  • When is payment due?
    A non-refundable booking fee of $200 is due at the time of booking to hold your date. The balance is due before the photoshoot. If you choose to upgrade your package, after seeing your final images, the difference will be charged.
  • Do you have a cancellation policy?
    Sure do. If you (the client) cancels your booking, giving less than 24 hours notice prior to the date of your photoshoot, or fails to show on time, all payments made to Little Valley Photographer (the photographer) will be forfeited and released to the photographer unconditionally.
  • Do you travel outside of Waikato?
    Absolutely - especially if it’s out in the countryside! Just let me know where you’re based and the date you have in mind, and I’ll let you know my availability. Travel fees do apply for locations 30kms beyond Kopaki (King Country).
  • Do you offer payment plans?
    Yes, just ask, and I’ll set something up. As long as the total amount is paid before your photoshoot date.
  • Can I buy a photography gift voucher?
    Yes, just let me know on the contact form, and I’ll sort it out for you!
  • When will we get our final photos?
    Your proof gallery will be ready within two weeks, and once you’ve chosen your faves, I’ll deliver your final edits in another two weeks.
  • Can we share our photos with friends & family?
    Please do! I love seeing my images out in the wild. If you share your photos on Facebook or Instagram, please tag @littlevalleyphotographynz and use the hashtag #littlevalleyphotography
  • Do you offer prints, canvas & albums?
    Absolutely! You’ll get all the info on framing, canvas prints, moleskine photo books and premium loose prints when you download the Family and Couples Packages and Pricing Guide. You don’t have to decide straight away. We can chat about these options after you’ve received your digital images.
  • What happens if we are unwell on the day of our photoshoot?
    If you’re sick, we’ll reschedule - it’s as simple as that. I want you to feel your best on the day of your photoshoot. We will also reschedule if I am unwell.
  • What happens if it rains on the day of our photoshoot?
    We’ll chat about alternative rainy day locations during your Zoom planning session. Or we can reschedule your photoshoot if the weather is going to get in the way. Sometimes, a little rain can add a touch of magic to your final photos.

    For Small Business & Personal Branding Photoshoots, your proof gallery will be ready within two weeks, and once you’ve chosen your faves, I’ll deliver your final hand-edited digital images in another two weeks. Unlimited hand-edited digital images are included in all Rural Business Branding & Commercial Photoshoots, your images will be sent to you in high and low resolutions, delivered via my online gallery (or Dropbox if you prefer) within 2 weeks of your photoshoot date.
  • Can we share our photos with friends & family?

  • Where are the photos taken?
    Most of my rural families love having their photos taken on their land. However, I’ve scouted a range of incredible locations to suit every family in and around the area, and I can share these with you if you don’t have a specific location in mind. I’m also happy to travel if you have a special location in mind. Travel fees do apply for locations 30kms beyond Kopaki (King Country).
  • How do I book a family or couples photoshoot with you?
    Once you’ve downloaded the Family and Couples Packages and Pricing Guide, please return to my website and complete the Enquiry Form on my Contact Page. I’ll then be in touch within 48hrs to confirm your photoshoot date and location and we’ll set up your planning session, via Zoom, where I can answer any questions.
  • Can I upgrade my package after I’ve booked?
    Absolutely. You don’t need to choose your package until after your session, so you can wait until you see your images before making that decision.
  • What happens if it rains on the day of our photoshoot?

  • What should we wear for our family/couples photoshoot?
    Dress in what makes you feel comfortable and “you.” Neutrals and soft tones work beautifully outdoors, but I’ll share more tips after booking. You’ll also have access to my client wardrobe, which is included in your session fee. You’ll find examples of my client wardrobe when you download the Family and Couples Packages and Pricing Guide.
  • How do you handle photographing kids who don’t like sitting still?
    I’m Mum to 3 adventurous, loud lads (including twins) - so wrangling kids is just what I do. There’s no need to stress. These sessions are relaxed and fun. I’ll capture natural moments as they happen - no stiff poses required.
  • Can extended family join a family photography session?
    Yes, extended family sessions are available and a fantastic way to capture everyone together. You’ll find packages and prices for these sessions when you download the Family and Couples Packaging and Pricing Guide.
  • What’s included in a Rural Heritage session?
    Each session includes up to 2 hours of photography and drone work. You’ll get a USB with all hand-edited high-res images and a 3-5 minute Drone video of your farm with licensed background music.
  • Can we add family photos to our Rural Heritage session?
    Absolutely! You can add a family session at a discounted rate of $425 for up to 20 images - just let me know in advance.

    Each Real Estate Photography package includes a set number of images, which varies by property size. Residential sessions include up to 30 photos, lifestyle blocks up to 50 and larger rural properties include unlimited images.
  • Can you create a walkthrough video?
    Yes, I offer walkthrough videos including audio and agent info, with options for aerial footage. This is a great way to highlight the full-scale of a property.
  • What happens if it rains on the day of our photoshoot?
    We’ll reschedule the photoshoot. I know how important it is to showcase the full-potential of a property for sale.
  • Do you travel outside of Waikato?

    Yes, I work with rural brands and publications to capture authentic editorial pieces. Contact me to discuss your vision, and I’ll create a custom quote
