CAPTURING THE GRIT, HEART & UNTOLD STORIES OF THE LAND & THE PEOPLE WHO LIVE & WORK ON IT

Your photos should be like the yarns you’d tell over a cuppa or when you crack that cold beer at the end of another long day…

… Real, bold and a little rough around the edges.

Because rural life isn’t polished to perfection. It’s unfiltered and unforgettable. Full of hard work, honest laughs and pride that runs deep.

And your photos should capture all of it - the grit, the heart and the moments that’ll have you saying, “Yip, that’s us.”

Their words, not mine…

“Laura is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! She managed to capture everything in our photoshoot. Not only was it for my 40th birthday, but also a final visit to my late Dad’s farm - my family farm that I’ve known all my life. Two families, best friends and a piece of paradise. Add in 4 kids, the Labrador and the adults. Laura captured the funny, the friendship, the love and she captured my home. Forever will I have these memories of a lifetime of my father’s legacy to cherish. Laura, what you did for us meant the world - thank you from the bottom of my heart.”

Oh hey there, I’m Laura

A farmer’s wife, mum to three loud lads and the one behind the lens.

Life south of Te Kuiti on our sheep and beef farm is a mix of early mornings, muddy boots and plenty of laughs - and I wouldn’t have it any other way. With nearly 20 years behind a camera, I know how important it is to capture the real stuff: the love, hard work and all the in-between moments that make up life on the land.

Humble brag…

I’ve been told one or twice that people are left speechless after they’ve received their photos.
